Heres how you can make movie watching memorable

watching a movie I know is a common pastiime and some people may argue that they do not need to prepare guidelines but it has happened that we go to a movie and come back feeling whether we were in our right senses!!!!!!!

the examples given are strictly of my own individual opinion

and not of public opinion, opinion will surely vary

so lets just try to establish a tentative guideline

1 Dont just get swayed by the big directors try out smaller budget but diffrent movies too!!!!!!!!!11 also dont put too much stress on the track record of the director

it takes time for a directo to flower ..and u never no after 1- flops u he/she maight make a classic...................

remember ashutosh gowaiker and pehla nasha ..........

sometimes we tend to jsut look at the image of the director and end up getting dissapointed and wonder why went wrong ??????? .....

example mein prem ki diwaani hoon, asoka,

If u look at indian cinema today the emergence of talented directors has lent some versatility to watching a movie

Movies like jhaankar beats, phir milenge, hyderabad blues are examples of good movies without a heavy duty star cast .......................

2 do not I repeat do not overstress on reviews in newspapers

one thing that I have observed that critics today really tear apart movies without properly presenting out the pros and cons of the movie I cannot really help but notice that critics in magaziens are baised towards stars who provide juciy content ......

after all its just one man’s view and our tastes could be diffrent .........

3 try to be versatile in picking movies to choose

I love to watch movies of every genre.................................

mystery drama comedy action ...............

i dont rush to watch every movie that comes out every friday but I make a conscious effort to pick movies of diffrent genres .

1 this ensures that u dont get bored

2 People of diffrent tastes get their choice

4 dont be overwhelmed by huge star casts

remeber jaani dushman huge star cast but it did not really make waves but a movie like jhaankar neats , remember movies like mein prem ki diwaani hoon well I mean I think lets give more importance to substance rather than style ................

also gives us an oppurtunity to watch sensible movies like gangajal etc

if u feel the need for pure entertainment just go back to huge star cast movies

Examples to rest my case

makdee phir milenge murder, 16 december( we cant deny that it is a hit and a big one at that ..)

hyderabad blues rockford etc........................

5 realism+special effects ( a good mix )

remember those dharmendra movies in the 90s and mithun movies ???

puhleease given me a break these guys can play action heoes but according to thei age

remember sean connery in the rock ???????? he picked the right action sequances for his age remember AB IN khakhee that was beliavable too!!!!

yes guys I mean seriously I dont wanna see movie in which a actor runs for a kilometre and does get by a single bullet (remember sunny deol in maa tujhe saalam

he must have run a 1500 m race without a single bullet please guys lets not let our common sense get hit ..............

there can be realistically well choreagraphed actio sequences

remeber the sholay train scene....??????????

guys please seee the thai movie enter the new dragon all the stunts are real no wires actual punches and kicks I mean the hero truly is the best action star

Also avoid seeing a movie for the sensual scenes and the love making ones I bet that u will be bored for 2 and half hours and u will spend just to see 5 mins of titillation

remember rog, jism,        etc so that’s it ...

a simple guideline according to my view ......................
