Times are changing and with it there’s significant rise in the percentage of single women in urban india, living alone, working late and long hours.
according to me there are some ways to ensur you stay safe:-
finding a safe rental accommodation is a problem for a single women. pick out an apartment in a respectfullocality and in a housing society as opposed to independent houses
if you are travelling on assignment, or have moved to new city for work, ask your company to ensure your safety by making the arrangement for your stay through thier local contacts .
in the apartment make sure that your door is latched when you are home. don’t leave your balcony door open at night . when you orderd food, or have to pay off milkmen, or other vendor, don’t leave the door open. take the item from door itself and don’t make them step inside. look through the keyhole before opening the door.
ensure all these thing if you are single women . and always keep one pepper spary with you
and I thing that if men also start respecting women then maybe women are safe at home or in thier workin place
so its my humble request to all men in this country we all starting giving respect to women .
