We visited Tirupati from Bangalore last month in One day package. This time we were referred by one of our friends regarding this Tour Operator who have had good experience.
The bus starts from BEL Circle and has pick-up points at Majestic, Koramangala and KR Puram. The bus exits KR Puram at 10 pm and reaches Tirupati around 3.30am. Each family gets a room to freshen up and be ready by 5:30 am. You would start darshan with Padmavathi temple early in the Morning and it’s pretty quick as well. Be aware that the Padmavathi Darshan Closes at 6:05 am and then eventually would re-open at 7 am.
After that you would be brought back for breakfast 7 to 7:30 am. Then you move into another bus to go up the hill (this was a Ghat Eligibile non-AC bus and we waited for about 15-20 mins). After that, you walk to the temple and reach the Sheeghra Darshan counter. The guide would ask you to join the Sheegra Darshan Counter and wait till you exit the temple after Balaji Darshan. The sheeghra darshan took us a good 3 hours and just to set the right expectation, the queues are not well managed!
In fact there are no queues. People keep pushing throughout and once you reach the main temple door, its un-bearable! Darshan was not long but not too short either. After darshan about 12 pm, we have another queue for the Laddoos which could be reimbursed with the Sheegra Darshan Tickets.
The good part was the logistics which was completely taken care by the tour operators. Ticket costed 1650/ person including travel by AC Mini-bus, room for freshening up, sheegra darshan for 300, and 2 laddoos (you can ask for extra laddoo for 50 each).
