To begin this Adventurous Trip I would like to thank many users who did advice not to board hrough Varsha Travels, However my previous experience was better so I thought to have another go but the result was disgusting this time.
We planned the trip through Varsha Travels for a Volvo Package with Shighra Darshana for Rs 1400/-, latter on I came to know through several commuters that they have been charged as low as 1200/- and as High as 1600/- also. To begin with we were asked to board thier normal bus from J P nagar to Anand Rao Circle at 8:00PM Sharp. We Reached there by 7:50 but to our Dismay we were made to wait till 9:10 and at last the bus came with many of them standing. This made me furious and after some Argument they made arrangements for my female family members to sit, but I was made to stand all the way till Anand Road Circle (majestic to board the actual bus). Finally we reached there by 9:50PM and after collecting the ticket from the office when we boarded the bus, it was another shocker, the bus was not a Volvo as Promised by the travels. It was a normal AC Bus with conjusted seating arrangement. This is not all, we were again the sufferer of rash driving by the Driver and when the people argued with him he simply used foul language and the heated argument made the trip by 30 Minutes. These Drivers don’t bother about any passengers/Family and are so rude and so was the Guide who gave us filthy rooms for freshen up in tirupati and when enquired was not bothered to answer and shouted telling come back within 45 Minutes.
We had a very poor breakfast at 05:30am (So Early and that too Limited One. After B/F we left for thirumala in Govt Bus and reached by 8:30PM. By the Time we reached the Entrance for 300Rs Pass it was 9PM and we finished the Darshana by 11PM. It took Two Hours for us since the Rush was Very Huge, normally it takes around 1 Hour. We Left the place by 12:30PM and Reached Tirupati by 1:30 and Finished our Pathetic Lunch. Thereon we went to Padmavathi Temple and had to again wait for more than One Hour for the Darshana. We left for bangalore at around 3:00PM.
The Climax waspending since the Driver refused to Play the CD on TV and Literally there was fight between the Driver and few of the Commuters. Finally We Reached Bangalore by 9:30PM.
I would like to request all those who go through this review..... Please Please Please My Humble Request Never Travel Through Varsha or For That Matter Any Private Package Tour Operators. Please Be ready to Pay 300 to 400 Extra and Travel through Government Owned KSTDC/ITDC with full luxury without any complaints, especially if you are travelling alongwith your family. No matter u pay lttle extra but you will get all the amenities as promised not like these travels.
Also Please Visit Kalahasthi or Plan the Tour Accordingly. Its a Very Good Place To Visit Near Tirupati Around 35 KMS Away.
Finally I would like to conclude that better travel by your own mode or travel through Govt Arranged Package Tours. It is true that you will be spending little more than these private travels but believe me you will get all the facility as mentioned, not like Varsha Travels who cheated us on all the Aspects.
