We visited Tirumala Tirupati Temple on Sunday after advance booking from TTD and were disheartened by the poor crowd management by the temple officials.
We were not even allowed to stand before god for 2 seconds and were roughly handled by the temple staff and police personnel on duty , many devotees were roughly pushed from the temple. The priests were filling their pockets by letting people merge into the queues out of turn just because they are some VIPs being some politicians relatives or bribing the priests.
Please have some fair policy for darshan and let there be no open space of merging the queues. Many women were manhandled and indecently pushed in the crowd and many rowdies were creating chaos trying to touch women in the crowd. Please keep a separate line for ladies where pseudo-devotees cannot touch or push them indecently.
Most of the people who were pushing women motly sounded uncivilized and illeterate , the police personnel were not controlling the corwd but instead pushing the people when they were standing in prayer in front of god. A temple sholuld be a place to get mental peace not to be a political image. People should feel peace not blows from the crowd.
