Last November(29/11/2018), I had bought TITAN specs for my wife for Rs2635/-(excluding lens cost) vide Sales Order No. THDK010590 from SANTEL Franchisee near Raghavendra Theatre, Hosur
While buying, the salesperson told that the specs is under warranty for 2 years.
Just after 2 months(04Feb2019), the frame broke(not the lens) while she was about to wear.
When we approached the seller(SANTEL-Titan EyePlus Franchisee, Hosur), they told that, breakages are not covered in warranty.
I really don’t understand what else is covered under warranty.
Still the salesperson agreed to somehow manage and asked us to choose another frame. But the options were very limited(just 2 frames)
and were not of good style.
For a price of Rs.2635/- why should I choose from just 2 dumb models?
Till now I have purchased many specs for our family members at much lower price and never faced such a poor quality specs which broke,
that too within a span of 2 months.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO CHOOSE TITAN EYE PLUS(particularly SANTEL franchisee in Hosur) FOR YOUR SPECS NEEDS.
There is one more reason for my frustration. At same time of the purchase for my wife, I had bought one for my daughter also.
In that, the lens started developing cracks the next day of purchase, which they had replaced.
I have never faced these kind of issues in my lifetime.
