Watch is an integral part of a personality....of course if a person believes in wearing one...
I am writing this review after using a Titan Watch for the last 8 years..........
So whatever I have written is an eight year experience and of course absolutely personal.
Well, this watch was a gift from my parents for scoring more than 80% marks in class tenth.The watch at that time(1995) cost around 700 bucks and for a boy of 15 years its indeed a costly watch to own.
Ever since then it has been a part of my personality.Thought since then I have bought three different watches including a Timex, a HMT and a Rolex but the titan watch still remains my favorite.
Reasons
First:-
Barring two battery changes in these eight years I have never spent any extra money on the Titan.Where as I have already changed the wrist strap for the Timex twice within the last two years and believe me its pretty expensive.The Rolex one is relatively new.
Second:-
I have used the titan in all seasons including in rain.Never had any problems with the titan.The HMT already died after using it in rain just once.The Rolex is so costly that after the HMT episode I did not have courage to wear it out in rain.Yet to experiment with the Timex.
Third:-
Cost.Money matters...right.
Thought the titan and the HMT were in the same cost range I must admit that Timex is still costlier and forget about Rolex.So, personally I like the Titan for the money that was spent on it and service it has been giving me.
Fourth:-
Maintenance.Absolutely none for the titan, and HMT did not give the opportunity.Timex has already consumed my 700 bucks for two straps.Rolex still awaiting..........
The result that I arrive to after going through the above four reasons is that.....if you are thinking for a new watch or planning to gift one to your near and dear one.....go for Titan.Well, as for me.......I am a hardcore Titan fan.

NoteI did not mention anything about the variety for for there are a lot of designs to choose from for most of the watch manufacturers.
