The performances by Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Billy Zane were simply inspired. In-fact entire cast was marvelous. It is based on real events faced by iconic ship RMS Titanic which drowned in its maiden voyage after hitting an iceberg. It is no wonder that it is my favorite Hollywood movies and one of the reasons I like them more than my own language movies. I must have seen it a 100 times by now. I watch it every time its shown on any channel.
The real reason why it since it covers so many genres and layers in it. It has action, romance, thrill, dreams, rich girl gets poor boy, sad ending, amazing plot, even a bit of fiction, based on true story, drama, comedy. The entire movie is full of beautiful moments and you just cannot skip any part of it. Truly a milestone in cinema making.
