I bought a TV through e-bay from a seller called gizmo tree on 30th July 2012. The seller shipped the same in 2 days. The consignment # is 135897123. when the status went to shipping I checked in the TNT website which said that the delivery date is 7th July 2012. I waited till 7th evening and as I haven’t got it delivered, I have called up the customer care, to my surprise I was told that some other company called startrek logistics will do this delivery as the shipment is through road. I was given another contact number which I have been calling up twice a day since 9th July 2012. I was being told that the consignment will be delivered the next day or the same day by evening. till today (11th July evening) there is no change in the status of the consignment which was there on 4th July.
There is no way where in you know how the package will get delivered.There is no update or any mechanism where in the company feels that the delivery has not happened as per the committed date.The company is not courteous enough to give an update and no where it is mentioned that the TNT has got a partnership with another lousy courier service called startrek logistics. I have been following up with all these bunch of great service providers. Finally I have yelled on the customer care guy and insisted to transfer my call to some one who can really do something and once again I am fooled with no one taking the responsibility. I thought that TNT is a world class courier service but this turned out to be a low class service.
My final advice to the readers is that don’t expect a good class service from TNT. This is also a low class service provider.
