When atticus’s neighbour announced to kill a mockingbird is a sin al its sole purpose is to bring music and joy to our life, I put down this book exactly on that page and closed my eyes and let my mind roam free, it was like as if as a plug had been blown free from the mass of my grey cells, it was as if released, my mind became a carnucopia of thoughts, melodies and most importantly the realisation that the simpler you are , the more straightforward, the more open -the more profound the impression.
this was one of the the most easy to read and understand book ihave read in ages, its story is so easygoing , the narrative so flowing and I personally feel that its purposely slowed down to that extent where you delve in, mutate with the characters, atticus with his forced limitaions, the boy and the girl growing up in a typical small american town steeped in tradition and values , also beautifully portraying the unhumanalistic behaviour towards
negroes, tinged with everyday truth , that was the way the times were then. how much ever we hate it and reprise those sentiments we have to accept/. as its past. atticus to me is the symbol who makes us understand that all was not lost then nor is lost now its takes one to think different others will follow that is what has happened now nowdays blacks , white, brwon , are all equals.
he taught his children there is no difference his children taught theirs and so on , this book was a important learning well I nmy life time and I eternally thank the writer for sharing his thoughts with us
