Again and Again

The first time I read this book I was in 11th grade. I loved it. I’ve read it twice since, but I would read it again and again if I could. It’s a classic. Harper Lee wrote with such style and elegance. She even made me feel sorry for the villans in the book. I particularly pitied Mae Ella.

Lee made me completely fall in love with Tom Robinson. His character was so noble and valient. I could also say the same for Atticus Finch. He did not even had a chance, but he did the right thing anyways. Lee says that the book is not autobiographical, but I think the book mirrors certain characteristics about her life not to be.

I don’t think every detail is her life, but in some way, I think it is a window into her soul and how she was feeling. I would recommend this book to anyone. It is fantastic! The only possible draw backs is that in some places it drags and initially the first chapter was hard for me to get through. After that it was a breeze though.
