To kill a mockingbird is a literary classic, just fantastic. I do not remember the story in intricate detail, having last read it many years ago, but the wonderful feeling I was left with, after I finished the book - that stays with me! As far as I recall, the book sees the world from a young girls eyes - a world which is divided based on skin colour, a world where growing up is not easy, what with the neighbourhood bogey man and all..., a world where her father is a font of wisdom. If I remember correct, Atticus is the fathers name, and such a man, we would be proud to know. The book is enchanting, gripping, touching, detailed without being voluminous, and at the end of the read, immensely satisying. I wont say more, just read it!
