Toilet Ek prem Katha doesnt satisfy you with all the hype around it.
The story is simple, that a man is trying to save his marriage by convincing his father to make a toilet in his house, but this matter escalates.
Akshay has tried very hard to look like a 30 year old man but doesnt convince you. Bhumi has done a really good role, and shows a promising career.
A film like this, about a concept like this, has ro have humor in it, like piku. They have tried to put in humor, but it only works in bits and pieces. the only good comic parts are of divyendu sharma. The movie in the second half is a strectch and a lot of things have been put in forcefully without any strong backing, like the father agrees to making the toilet and apologizes to bhumi out of nowhere, and that all the women have suddenly decided to listen to bhumi and become a part of her campaign. Not convincing.
Watch it only for Akshay on screen, and dont have a lot of expectations.
