*Tom Hanks** a middle-class person who had no God Father grew up, made sensation in the World Cinema. Living with a succession of step-families, no abuse, no alcoholism, just a confused childhood. If you haven’t seen any of his movies, I would say you have missed out something in your life. Its been a great treat watching this legend on screen.
Who would forget Chuck Noland in **Cast Away(2000)** which is ranked **#46** on Premiere Magazine’s 100 Greatest Performances of All Time(2006)? Well, except a movie which did fatal error on screen like’Da Vinci Code", I have experienced the real sense of acting and thanks to him for his choosy roles. For instance the role he played in **Catch me if you can?**!
Ofcourse, that must have done due to his close relationship with Stephen Spielberg however, what he does, have always remained close to our heart. I still remember the quote or the dialogue he spoke in Forrest Gump, its like this "My mama always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get."
And how many of us left the Movie Hall leaving a silence when **The Terminal** ended up on a tragic note?
And one of my favorite romantic flick would be the character he played in **You’ve Got Mail **(1998). Joe Fox fell in love with his rival and the tag line of the movie was real catchy and it goes like this "Someone you pass on the street may already be the love of your life." Infact a very well made Internet love story. Meg Ryan looked beautiful. I have admired Jim Lovell in **Apollo 13**(1995).
