My favourite places are always hill stations.I am a travel worm.
i have ranked the top five hill stations of india for the summer.I am listing only of those where I have gone.i never went Kashmir, Mount abu.So they are not in my list.PLease consider this points while yor are reading this review.
5)Shillong
1496 m from sea level.Situated in east india.Shillong is the capital of meghalaya.Ideal place for falling in love.One of the best romantic place in the earth.Main languages are hindi, bengali, english and asameese.Climate is pleasant in the summers.Main inhabitants of shillong are khasi.British remarked shillong as the ’’scotland of the east’’.I am sure U’ll like the rains of this hill stations.
4)Lava
Quiet uncommon name.It is in my list because everyone goes to the hill stations to spend some days lonely.And this is the ideal place.Full of Ok, Far, Dhupi and rododendron trees.The WAys to lava is gorgeous.It is 32 km away from Kalimpong(West bengal).The foods of this place are very
healthy.only one obstacle of this area is the ’’jokes’’.(i don’t know the english term of it but it is a very sticky insect and takes the blood from the human body.Salt is the preventive of it).
3)Utkamandam(ooty)
Situaded in the southern part of our country.2240 km from sea level.This is not important.MOre important is the natural beauty of this place.THe flowers beside ur way or the hills are superb here.
Rodes to ooty are very good and iam sure no one feel much hill sickness in this part of india.Main language perhaps is tamil(i could not understand that), english.The people of ooty are very good.Only one thing is bad--The Eveteesing of auto drivers to the girls of traveller parties.IT is a compulsory (!) things in the metropolitans but no one’ll like it during holidays!
2)Manali
This is Situated in himachal pradesh. The way to manali is beautiful.There is bipasha river beside your way.Tunnels in the roads had made the way much romantic.This is a hill station of 5 sq. kms. In the summer day it is one of the beautiful place in the world.this place is full of green.One of the best place for the honeymooners.Don’t forget to visit Manikaran or Rohtang pass from manali.
1)Nainital
In 2001 I was in this place.At the entrance of this place I thought it as like other general hill stations.But when our car entered the main city and I saw the lake really I was totally stopped.What a place! a city of lake.a place for me.It is very pleasant weather at here.Totally superb sight seen.The nainidevi temple was also very good.Except the people of this place any one can think of this place as abroad.Very Neet and clean city.The water is as clean as glass.THe boating on the lake(120 feet deep) is also a incredible experince.Superb place.
