This august saw the inaugural issue of the TopGEAR.As most of you ’ll was familiar with name on the tv. Even my father knew such a programme is on tv .rather bbc.But too my surprise I saw the launching of the mag on zoom.Man that was one bollywood party. Somehow seemed better that the mumbaui mirrors.Lots of biggies like aj devgan, jaggu and others were ther.There was even the debo guy ........
I didnt kno that they have been printing this for some 12yrs.So I said les get our hands over one.So the local railway vendor was the destination .well the price was much less than I had expected was just Rs 60/- bucks. its a lumpsome amt but that just was just an expression for surprise.
I could see 2 booklets so even more exalted .......... as I reached home realised that it was a mouse pad.Since that day my mouse has wrking more efficiently cause it works on topgear. editor is gautam sen dun kno much abt him.And there I was again dispntd coz I thot it would br jermey.
the contents well ther is the erlx test and comparison between xing and wagon r.THats it. As I stated turn ing pages realised it seems just a faclift version of the uk one. all I could see were a flyin spur and a bit about the combi octavia<estate>
To me it was all irrelevant . good if there is a new maserati around .but I am not payin 60 bucks for it. ok Rovers are coming but ........
p.s. the main thing it tells you about the suvs on the indian roads
In the car guide theres a lot of freshness as in the entire mag with titles like ’dont be fooled by’ but theydont have the 0-100 of any car apart from those of the audis mercs and the bmw.
They seem to admit it has a loy of foren maal .lets see what they offer in the future.
It has 306pages . just in case anybodys interstred in the resale value (kabadi)
