Well, Myself Prince Raj and today I am going to write or share my view on one of the biography written by Rahi Masoom Raza’s Topi Shukla . This book was published by Rajkamal Prakashan on 1st jan 2016 in Hindi . This book is very simple written yet very impressive. While reading the book readers will automatically connect to the book it’s emotions and plot . I got the chance to read this book as a part of my school project as I was asked to present seminar on this book along with my formative’s group .
Well coming to the book it is part satire and part tragedy . This book very well defines and describe the life of hindus and Muslim in subcontinent . The book start with two friends Topi and iffin as name suggest Topi was a Hindu and iffin was Muslim . Both were best pal infact iffin was only topi’s friend and topi used to visit iffin’s home almost daily . Iffin’s grandma used to love Topi equal to iffin always she used to serve food to Topi and even tell them stories . Once by hearing word aama which means mother in Urdu he used it in his home and unexpectedly he was scolded and beaten up . Unfortunately iffin’s grandma died and both went into deep sarrow and then iffin’s father got transferred in another city and both get separated . The best part of the book is that above all hurdle he never let his friendship gets fade away in the name of religion, topi always missed him and always desire to find same friendship which he used to feel in presence of iffin.
At last I would just say this book really touches one’s heart, this book would surely liked by youth as it deals about friendship.
