Well, this restaurant is perhaps the highest in Bangalore. If i’m not mistaken (coz its been quite a while since I visited that place), its on the 24th floor of the Public Utility Building (or is it the 21st floor..hmmm I can’t remember) on MG Road. Hey you can’t miss that building, its tallest building in Bangalore.
Anyway, just to give you small romantic details of this place. Make sure you go there only after sunset (i mean dinner) and make sure you get yourself a comfortable place by the window. Its awesome to see Bangalore from up there. Really a romantic feeling.
About the service, well, its not really the best you’d find in Bangalore. The waiters are quite lethargic. I wonder if things have changed by now.
The food quality is quite good. Nothing very special about it. You need to try out the steaks. Chicken steaks are yum !
The prices can burn your pocket. Expect a dinner for 2 to be around 500-700Rs.
Its not really the food served at Topkaapi that I’m recommending ...its the view, 24 storeys above Bangalore city. To all you romantic nuts out there....its a place to unwind for a while with your sweetheart. Make sure its dinner. The view is breathtaking.
