I brought toshiba external harddrive almost 6 months ago. First of all it is costly. I buy this product because of the brand name but I am disappointed with its performance. I brought it at 3780 which is costly. Instead of this you can buy other company’s hard disk at 3000 rs with better performance. Its speed is too low. I transfered the video from external hard disk to my laptop. Its speed is almost 800kbps to 1 mbps not more than that. And the another problem is the heating problem. It starts heating after using 20 to 30 minutes. After some time it heats alot. Thatswhy I have to remove it form my laptop. Overall I must say this is not the setisfactory product from toshiba.
