I bought this hardisk back in 2018

Since it was offering a large space at relatively cheap cost
The harddrive was small in size and portable
The design was same as the other hard-disk available in market
I plugged it in my laptop
But the real pain comes when it cames the time to transfer large data
On small file it worked fine but while transferring large files the speed throttle very much it goes from as high from 60 mbps to average speed of 35 mbps .
The harddisk is 5400 rpm and is vert slow when comes the point about transferring large data
Which should be the primary motive of this hard disk
It has normal sata connector to usb and work on sata III
THE device get quite hot during operation
Normally its fine but sometimes unbearable to touch.
The harddisk was quite good after performing lot of read write operation
The data in the hardisk was safe and I do not noticed any bad sector
The device comes with 3 years of warranty and I don't think I should be needing it anytime soon.
But as form my experience the customer service of wd is not that great
Hope the hard disk last for a couple of more years
The hard disk from my experience is value for money if you want a single drive with lot's of storage in it.
But if speed bothers you then this is not for you dude. You might need to get a good nap after initiating data transfer
