I take A LOT of pictures. I had concerns that with my computer being a few years old already that some day I would try to turn it on and it wouldn’t start. So, I bought this to use as a back up. I’ve had this for about a week and already filled up over 100GB ( that’s with every picture, file and document that is on my computer) . I still have a little over 800GB left! After having it plunged into your computer and it not being in use for a certain amount of time, it will shut off. Which I love because if it’s not being used, I would rather it be off. With me taking as many pictures as I do, this may have been the best money I have spent.other than my camera of course! : ) It comes with the cord to connect it to your computer as well.
