Thanks for Mouthshut...I own a Toshiba Satellite A205. I had researched much on laptops and finally bought an HP 6767 TX for my collegue and was a stupid decision that I made.
The piece works just fine but would never suggest to anyone only coz of the reason that it gets heated up a lot....Story is the same with SONY VAIO...Now regrading Toshiba.... this is good value for money in first place and the performance till date is worth an appreciation.....

The best part with this laptop is that it never geats heated up... when I say never.... trust me... NEVER.... I have left it switched on for more than 72 hours at a stretch and it works like a charm...Now, battery life.... I would say under practical circumstances... 1.5-2 hours....Watched a whole movie in train... lol...
Im not against any other companies... but the money spend is not worth i’d say..Regarding pricing... It may vary according to market conditions... so research and find it on yourself..Did have one issue with BSOD once...but got fixed as soon as I upgraded the Network adapter Firmware....
One more important feedback... I love the keyboard since its sliver colour and never go for a laptop with black keyboard... wondering why ?? When you use the laptop @ night.. you wont see a thing if its Black.... lol....Check out this blog --- it says 41 k, but I guess it should come somwhere around 35000/-
