In the last 2 months, this is the third time that I’ve caught Total Mall indulging in wrongly charging customers while billing.
Even if the amount on any item says Rs.215, it may shop up as Rs.265 in your bill. This is how Total Mall makes money. Most of the people have many items and don’t check their bills after paying and something or the other has been wrongly charged.
This has happened with me for three items - a branded edible oil, a well known shampoo brand and once while buying stationary. The items had clearly marked prices on them but still they appeared with a higher difference of 50-90 rupees on the bill. There billing system is rigged to cheat you while billing.
Please be very careful while getting your items billed in Total Mall or if you can avoid shopping there, please avoid.
There many better departmental stores which may charge a little more but will not cheat unsuspecting customers while billing.
