Bad customer service

I have had a good experience with Touchtel or Airtel as it is called now.


I had good conectivity etc but recently had a very bad experience with the Customer Service.


I had opted for ECS clearance of my Bills through the credit card, and I was communicated that I need not pay that particular months bill . But one day before the due date, I got emails and calls from the CS team that I havent payed the bill.


I intimated them that it will be cleared from the ECS, but none bothered to listen and asked me to pay the amount through the cheque.


I did pay the amount, but at the end of the month when I recived the credit card payment, I see the amount being charged to my Credit card also.


I called up the customer service to refund the amount. But One CS kept pushing to the other team and so on. There was no positive reply from their end , nor the refund, even after a month.


They were all set to adjust it with the next bill.


Here they made sure that I pay the bill on time, by making me pay twice, but when it came to refunding the amount which was payed in access no one got back.


So the bottom line is that , if mistake is done from our end, we are fined, but if the company does it , then still you have to pay the price for the same.
