Toyota Etios Liva is a car that is only talked about its low sales. the only reason for this is Toyota themselves.
I have tested this car through kirloskar toyota dealership at kolkata!
in this hot hatchback territory of India competition is ought to be a tough one so delivering the product keeping in mind about the competition is the main key to success .but the makers totally ignored it and launched the hatchback version of its failure sedan sibling .
The space in Etios Liva is very less and rear seat is a bit cramped and boot space is also not phenomenal .
ride and handling is okay. but does not Excel over here.
The only place where Toyota Liva shines is its reliability and if you are planning two clock in a few lakh kilometres then this car will definitely be your trustable companion!
The interiors of the car are pretty basic and the placements and any layout of the interior is a bit awkward . The feature list is also pretty basic. on the design front also the Etios Liva fails to shine and the body shape does not really attract many buyers.
It does offer airbags as standard and safety in this car is quite good. But to compete on safety front ford figo stands heads up!
Fuel economy is ok and it provides around 19 to 20 kmpl which is decent .
considering the price at which it sells and completes with Maruti Suzuki Swift Ford Figo Hyundai Grand i10 this hatchback truly fails to shine!
So if you want to buy this car then keep in mind about all these points and note that generaly these cars are outdated hence in second hand car market their demand are pretty low!
The only selling point of this car is its reliability of being from toyota family!
