I bought Etios Liva G 2 months ago. I had horrible experience ever since I bought the car, the worst ever experience I had of a new car within two months of usage. Car was not delivered as promised. I received car with usage of 140 kms.
One of the tires busted from sideways without any specific incidence of an impact or an accident within 200 kms. Tyre claim rejected conveniently. The rear and front suspension started making noise and is the same even after first service at 900kms. I have never had to do suspension work for over 5 years in any of the cars used by me in the last 35 years. The doors are too tight, needs to be banged for full closure.
The petrol engine is smooth but fuel efficiency is just 5/6 km per liter, nowhere near the claim of around 15 km/liter. Felt being cheated. If anyone is looking for a car for personal use and driving, don’t even think of taking a test drive of LIVA. The interior is not impressive and not up to the mark. It looks an approach of cutting corners while making a car and interiors especially.
Its just about two months and first time in my life I am thinking of replacing it. I have had to contact service center more than 10 times for the problems, who are trying to resolve but not able to and I get only promises. Even if they do, fundamentally why would any thing happen to a new car when they claim that no service is necessary for 15, 000 kms or one year.
It seems this is a utter failure on the part of manufacturer, their QA department, testing norms and bought out component team. It is just about 2 months that I have been driving the LIVA and I am thinking to sell it. I have faced so many problems within 1000 kms of running which cant even be imagined.
I am unsure what more bad about the car is in store for the future. To me the car is totally rejected by me in principle and wonder what more I have to face from the car maker and the dealer for the same.
