I bought an Etios Petrol G model in April 2011. Now crossed 6000kms The following are the positives and negatives. Your comments are very much invited.
Positives:
Excellent powerful engine which delivers 90bhp.
Enough legroom for rear passengers.
Seating position is very good, you can rest your head properly on headrest.
You can chill your water bottles inside glowbox on long drives.
Rear view mirrors are antiglare mirrors.
Huge boot space of about 600 lts.
Steering is highly sensitive and very smooth. Excellent driving experience at rural and city conditions.
Good service experience with Toyota Dealers.( Express service facility in one hour)
A car with value for money from Toyota.
Insurance package covers all accessories without making us pay half the price of glass and fibre
Smile package really worth.
Toyota genuine accessories are of very good quality.
Negatives:
Lower weight of the car makes you less confident while driving at more than 100kmph.
Cable clutch system is not much comfortable, but fluid clutch in diesel version.
Suspension is not much comfortable on bad roads.
Rear shock ups are very soft and swings more and the car touches the humbs even if the ground
clearance is 170mm.
- The double din audio system provided by Toyota doesnt have subwoofer out and rear speakers.
So prefer Sony from Toyota showroom itself.
- Mileage is 12km in city and 15km at highway. Mileage on filling a full tank is 12.8 which was
consumed in two weeks only.
Conclusion:
Buy it if you want a sedan with powerful engine, quality service of Toyota and to avoid image of taxi like verito, swift dzire etc. I am waiting for your sincere comments.
