After a horrendous customer-care experience with Chevrolet, I decided to take a chance with Toyota. The Etios was recently launched and the good reviews of the Innova and Fortunner enticed me. A trip to the Dwarka’s Galaxy Toyota dealer was even more delightful. The sales guy gave me all the information I needed about the car to make up my mind immediately.
Now, about the car! What I like about the Etios is the leg-space it offers and the huge boot space. I make a lot of weekend getaways and the boot space come very handy. Whether I’m driving or traveling co-passenger when my wife is driving, it is a very comfortable ride, reminiscent of Toyota cars where a lot of R&D goes into cabin comfort. The AC is pretty good and I haven’t got any complaints from my mom-in-law sitting on the rear seat – that’s something, I swear!
Although I’m not a consumption-checking freak, the Etios gives a fair value for money for every litre of petrol bought.
Oh! Yes, while I like most things about my car, there are two things that come to my mind which I don’t like or rather wish could be corrected. First is the interiors(the dashboard and all) is too plasticky and considering that mine is a petrol variant, there is a fair amount of engine noise that is not to my liking.
All in all, combined with its price tag, great all sales service, it is must buy for people who are deciding to do away with their hatchback and be a proud owner of a sedan.
