I bought the top end Innova V in 2005. Having been an NRI, I had thought that it would be a good car, but am thoroughly disillusioned by not only the car but also Toyota’s indifferent attitude to quality and towards customers.
The car has started emitting thick black smoke just after 20, 000 kms, couldn’t climb upto the Zoo at Nainital and the engine heated up and froze, gives only 9kms with AC on in city & 11 kms on the highway, the engine seems to strain & vibrate on the highway at 100 kms/hr.
