Well, the Toyota Qualis is a fine piece of machinery as far as my opinion goes. I mean the roads of Indian Highways, particularly U.P. are really treacherous and if a vehicle brings you out with more than 5, 000 kms of smooth ride, then that thing has really got the zing!
I mean, a lot of criticism that came recently was mostly from users who are mainly tour operators and taxi drivers who will take it as compared to the Tata Sumo, although these two are different in their own leagues. I also agree that in totality, its small wheels give it a queer look, but then there arent perfect cars like BMWs and Mercedeses all the time, with that kind of affordability. And Toyota is better known for comfort, economy and style, rather than prestige items.
All the same, if you want to rough it up with it on the Pandavpur Highway, then it is not very recommended, because the brakes still keep one asking for more, but otherwise, I think it is a very commendable machine and really deserves that people other Toyota models in
India very soon.
