My son submitted his account opening application online through D-KYC channel. All information including nomination details were provided. They got the application digitally signed using aadhaar OTP. However, when he received the digitally signed application, he discovered, the nomination details had not been recorded on the application at all.
My son had insisted on the reviewing the completed application details before signing but they tradeplusonline team maintained that process was online and all details entered by applicant only would be captured. Later their RM tried to fool us over email saying that nomination was not necessary for online applications as if we did not know the purpose of nomination. Multiple followups over phone and email did not result in capturing nomination details.
They also misrepresent that one can trade options only for Rs 99 per month while an equal amount is mandatory for SMS charge which they don’t mention despite being asked.
I am happy they exposed their poor service before my son funded the account for trading. My son has written to SEBI to disallow them from doing D-KYC until they rectify their process and allow the client to see the completed application before signing it digitally.
