I have just returned to my place of buisness after volunteering some time at the Red Cross here in Virginia. I closed my Bridal Salon for half a day in hopes that I could encourage more people to do the same and give of their time. Seeing first hand how much all volunteers are needed and valued has made me a little ashamed that I did not do it sooner. These orginizations are so overwhelmed with victims from not only Katrina but all kinds of disasters on top everything else. I will continue to do my part anyway that I can and hopefully bring some awareness to others who will join me in their own cities. My hats off to all those in the worst hit areas of this disaster for all they do and sacrifice. I wish I could do more and hopefully I can. God bless all the survivors of this awful disaster and prayers to those in the Asian Tsumai also. Let’s move on together.
