I bought this external hard disk six months back at a price of 3500 in Nehru Place, New Delhi.Its access to data, build quality design everything is awesome compared to others.I have been using this from past six months sometimes it has fallen from my worktable but nothing has happened to it.
This hard disk comes with USB 2.0 compatible & also 1.1 backward compatible, so works finely with old PCs also, data access s faster its given in the manual 480 Mb/sec, i have not tried it exactly but comparitively data which I copy or move requires lesser time than a good pen drive.
The Hard disk comes with 320GB capacity, but you can only use 280 GB of free space the remaining space is used for backing up your data by a single press of a button which is a key feature, you can secure your data by a single press.
One more feature is the whole 280 GB is shown as a single drive & as a primary device as a addiitional drive not as a secondary device, such as pen drive s shown as a secondary device.As said above data transfer is descent.The hard disk comes with a two usb cables, some PCs/Laptops doesnt work with single USB, so if it doesnt work with single try to connect other one also.
Where ever I go I carry this, because of its rugged design its very durable, its design is tested under US military standards it comes with three layer protection, so I think iits durability is good compared to others.Its good to buy a External hard disk than a pendrive as rice/data is less for a external hard disk.
