I am using this hdd since 3 years. I am not getting any issue last three years.It is the best hdd. This drive performs well as a backup for my movies and music. It receive sufficient power over USB 2.0 & 3.0 to spin the drive, using the single usb cable. I haven’t used any software for using this HDD.I have no complaints about this product.
