Had the most harrowing experience with these people, while relocating from Bangalore to Kolkata last month. A few things which happened:
Delay: Delivery took 14 days, when it was promised that it`ll take no more than 6-7 days. No one cared to inform me about the delay either.
Lack of care and mishandling: The packers didn’t have the expertise to disassemble my computer table. They packed it in one-piece. When it arrived, it was broken into two.
About 5-6 cartons were completely wet and soggy, and so were the stuff inside them! Valuable electronic equipment such as hard-disk drives and headphones were wet too. About 3-4 clothes were completely spoiled and stained. One of the front supports of the refrigerator was twisted and broken. Upon being asked the reason for the above, all I got was a string of’sorry’-s and a lame’we are looking into the reason’!
Blatant lack of professionalism: The handymen who were supposed to help me reassemble my bookshelf didn’t turn up for 3 days. This was incredibly frustrating and all my requests to send someone ASAP just fell on deaf ears. Most of the times, no one was even reachable on phone.
Compensation nowhere in sight: It has been more than a month since all this was reported to the owner, Sahil(slick in mannerisms and high on promises, but a big failure when it comes to execution and delivery), but till now haven’t heard a word from him regarding this.
My sincere advice is, unless you want to be severely disappointed with the quality of service, harassed ceaselessly and are ready to receive your precious items in broken, stained and spoiled condition, do not hire Transdaksh!
