TRANSWORLD (KAUSHIK) PCKRS & MVRS-A BIG HEADACHE

As I changed my job and was shifting from Bangalore to Pune, I called so many packers and movers for shifting my households. I found Transworld packers and movers price quite OK compared to other movers. When I called him and we agreed on one amount based on number of cartoons.


When he sent his office guy, and I showed my luggage and asked the guy about approx charges. He said owner will tell you and I forced him to call him before the packing but he did not show any interest and packed the luggage in 1 hour. After that when we spoke to his owner, he increased his rates by 500 bucks(though no extra cartoons were there) and was trying to charge more for some documentation charge which was never mentioned.


I paid him 500 extra and then he promised to send the luggage on agreed date.


Though I got my luggage on agreed date but real headache started from here. When the delivery guy came alone without any other helpers and demanded extra money(100 rs) for unloading the auto. As it was small amount so I agreed. When I saw the luggage, 2 boxes were opened and god knows what all was missing from there. Then I found one table was broken partially from corners and 2 small boxes were broken.


After shifting when I called a guy named Sachin(owner of Transworld Packers and movers, also known as KAUSHIK Cargo) he said like sir send the bills for the plastic boxes as I insured my luggage. For table and open cartoons he did not have any proper answer and casually said small loss happens when we shift luggage. I asked then why you guys insure and how you pack the luggage if you do not take responsibilty of all this.


Anyhow I sent him bills of just 300 rs and gave him ac number and gave him option also in case he does not want to go to bank then recharge a mobile with same account.


For refund he made so many pretends on daily basis and I almost called him around 20 times. Though  the refund amount was so negligible but I was not happy with the kind of response I was getting. I warned him that I will put bad reviews on net if he keeps on making such delays. After a month of follow up, he finally did a recharge on 06 November and as promised to him I am writing this review:)


Service was ok if I just consider timely delivery(Do not forget 2 cartoons were open, so force them to use new boxes and pack carefully).


Also, Please avoid Transworld cargo if you are expecting insurance refund from them. It was really a big headache.
