I purchased some tickets from Delhi to Bangalore for my parents using this web site and was happy to see that I got a rate cheaper by INR 100 here.
Deal is a deal and it was all well until I had to go and cancel my tickets. Then starts my nightmare. Spicejet cancelled my tickets and refunded the money on a single call without hassles.
But Travel Chacha guys blocked my money from reaching me. After calling there call center I realised they executives do not have a clear understanding of the processes and there are no responsible people.
So they tried to convince me to leave my money with them in a kitty and reuse it again later. I was not happy with this option and asked them to refund my money at earliest. They asked me for a 20-25 days time to return my money.
After a month’s time when I still did not hear anything from them I approached them again and got a reply stating that they are not sure where my money is and will need another 2 weeks to just track it.
So guys I feel the 100 rupee deal went to costly for me as my thousands are stuck till now. I just wanted other people to not get into this trap and hope someone will be able to save himself/herself from such an ordeal after reading my review.
