Be Careful when dealing with TravelChaCha.com

Hi,


I booked a ticket from travelChaCha.com on 10-Sep-2011 21:59:51


After taking the payment, I received an email saying that for some security reasons, they need a copy of my PAN card. If not, the booking will be cancelled.


Since I was traveling, I was not carrying my PAN card.


If they had mentioned about this before I booked the ticket, I would not have booked the ticket.


I spoke to their support team.


They said that they cannot do anything, PAN card is required and if not provided, the booking will be cancelled and money will be refunded back to my card within 48 hours.


I agreed and sought assurance that the money will be refunded without any followup.


Getting money back is always a pain.


I do understand that it does take a few days for money to be reversed so I was patient.


A week passed and I did not see the refund, so I spoke to their support team.


Some "Dharmender Singh" is responsible for the refunds.


I spoke to him twice and both times, he said that he will issue a refund asap and it will show in 24-48 hours.


Finally, he sent me the following email:


Dear Sir,   We will process your Refund(AUJBJL) today evening(26/9/2011)  because of some technical problem & it will be reflected on your A/C  after 24-48 hours & extreamly sorry for delay.    Thanks & Regards Dharmender Singh


Its been 2 days since the above email and I do not see any refund.


I am not sure if I will ever get it back.


Please be careful when dealing with travelchacha.com
