The travel triangle presents itself as a great portal that can be used to book holidays.
But in reality, they are big cheaters!
We booked a Sikkim holiday from them. They assured that they are responsible for end to end holiday. All was hunky-dory till we reached there.
Firstly the car was not what was promised. We really had to fight and spend 3 hrs to get the thing sorted. We thought this was just one minor glitch all will be good from here on. But that was just a dream!
Day 3 of our trip was planned for Lachen. We were all packed and ready to leave but the driver told us that the permit is not available. We struggled to get through the agent who eventually said that we won’t get the permit and there is no way the permit will be available even the next day. As we were will older people we originally booked the Lachen trip for 2 days but this meant that both the days were wasted. So instead of spoiling our trip, we asked for a suggestion from the agent that shall we go to Pelling. This meant that we had to travel back and forth from Gangtok on both days. The agent suggested that only alternate was to either go to Pelling or spend two extra days in Gangtok.
Now, this also meant that our stay at Lachen should get cancelled and booking at Pelling should be made. But the agent didn’t do any of this. We were strangled in the middle of the trip. To our surprise, the Travel triangle didn’t do anything.
We somehow managed to get the booking for Pelling and paid an extra amount for these two days.
Our trip completely got spoiled. Our parents were dead tired of travelling all the time. I got severe back pain because of traveling on broken Pelling road. We were at least hopeful that our booking amount for Lachen(the two days we couldn’t go) would be refunded. But it never happened. These cheats ran away with our money.
The original amount was 75000 for Lachen. Which first the agent said that they would only refund 63000. But later completely refused to give even a penny.
Now we have been following up with the travel triangle as well as the agent for the last 1 month. Neither they are taking our calls, nor returning the money nor responding to emails.
We have written over 12 emails and made more than 30 calls but all in vain.
I would suggest, book holidays directly with the hotel it will be cheaper as well as safer.
The agents on the travel triangle are cheating and the travel triangle takes no responsibility. This is just a cheat website, no real travel agengy like SOTC or something.
