This is with reference to my trip to Dubai Booking Id: 981185
Nothing went right at the trip. There were constant issues at Pre-trip, Hotel, Airport Pickup and Site-seeing. Here is the highlight for your reference to take an informed decision.
After booking I had to follow-up every step for: payments, change in itinerary, Visa, tickets, Hotel, site-seeing. I should have booked directly if so much followup was required. 2. The Visa came in late evening before flight. Due to unavailability of my visa details timely, my conference organisers at Dubai had cancelled my registration.
On arrival there was no one to pickup, I had to make numerous calls to local Tour manager to arrange the pick-up. 4. I had booked 2 double rooms; one with extra bed. The Hotel refused the check-in as they had information of 2 double rooms only. I had to pay additional amount for extra bed. My family had to sit in the lobby for hours till the matter was resolved and then we were able to check-in. 5. There was no pick-up for the site-seeing for rest of the day. I had to make numerous calls to Tour operator to arrange the pick-up. They kept promising that someone will come for pickup and finally stopped answering the phone.
The pick-up vehicle for site-seeing had double and over-lap bookings. They hurriedly took us at half of the places without allowing us to get out the vehicle at most of the points and even take photos.
TravelTriangle cannot match and compensate on the trouble and anxiety we had suffered in this trip which was meant for a family leisure and life time trip. I have inquired in the history of the company they have raised money from venture capital companies and have no real interest to serve the customers. It is simply a fraudster company operating just on website, they outsource booking to small travel companies that pass-on the booking to local Dubai travel agents. Its better to book online on Dubai Based’REAL’ travel operators directly and at lower cost. I have asked for refund of extra charges and additional expenditures I had to incurred. Till date they have not responded. I am booking a case against them in consumer court and cyber crime cell to recover the amount.
My single advice, JUST AVOID BOOKING WITH TRAVEL TRIANGLE.
