My booking Id: TGU0001474986
On 9-June-2014, I booked a room of Rs. 1750 in Aashirwad hotel(Mussoorie) from travelguru.com. My journey date was 14-June-2014.On 13-June, they(travelguru) informed me that they don’t have any rooms in Aashirwad hotel. My question is that if they don’t have rooms vacant in the hotels, then how can they book a room?
Then they booked a room in India Hotel and charged Rs.500 more from me which I paid.
When I reached India Hotel, the people at the reception started demanding Rs. 1000 more from me. I asked them to talk with travelguru.com, but they refused to talk.Even travelguru did not inform Hotel India about the room type whether it is an Economy Room/Semi Deluxe/Super Deluxe. Finally after a long discussion of 1 hour, I didn’t pay any extra money to them.
But the thing is that, travelguru.com is not having good relationships with the hotels, that’s why I faced the above issues. Then I realized that I did a very big mistake that I booked from travelguru.com. I will not suggest any one to do booking from travelguru.com.
