I used to invariably and almost blindly used to use this site for any accommodation choices in India. However TG has disappointed sorely on the following points: their choice is limited and is not expanding to very select cost effective budge accommodation that they are pioneers.
Their website design is not at all intuitive enough to provide any feedback on a hotel automatically after checking in. Previous they used to send an email to elicit the feedback on the stay; but it was discontinued. Added to it, even if you send the feedback, they would upload after 2 months, after 6-8 followups as if they are doing a great favor to the consumer.
Customer Service: for one simple service request, at least 4-6 people straddle to get it addressed and in the meanwhile the status doesn’t change a wee bit.
Wish they focus on their core niche: in locating hitherto hidden cost effective accommodations for the consumer and enable the website to be more user friendly.
