I have used a lot of websites for online travel and hotel bookings. I find that Travel Guru is good for its responsiveness and attitude in resolving refund / booking issues. Altough it took time an e-mails, at they were able to do something in a case of cancellation and refund me 50% of the amount. You can have my vote.. for response to my queries and resolving the issue .
I had made a booking for staying at Hotel Ajantha, New Delhi from Thu- Jan 18, 2007 to Wed- Jan 24, 2007 . I cancelled this booking on Jan 13th , 2007. I thought that this amount would be credited back to my credit card with which I made the booking.
Unfortunately the amount was not been credited. I was also late in noticing this error from TravelGuru as I was
out of country for some time and did not have acess to my card statements and did not check them over the web. I spoke to one of Travel Gurus CR executives, Mr. Jacob and got a reference number for my complaint . No: 14071
After lot of e-mails here and there, a service manager called Tamanna Kalra was able to resolve the issue without much damage to TG as well as their reputation.
