I would like to share my recent awesome experience with my holiday booking with Travelguru.
I had decided to go to Manali+Shimla for my honeymoon. After doing due diligence & googling on net, I zeroed down to book with Travelguru as they provided the best quote & complete package.
I had done the booking 2 months in advance at hotel honeymoon inn(again searched net to choose a good hotel). There was policy for no-cancellation or change as per the hotel rules(being peak season for them).
Although I thought my trip would not get re-scheduled but somehow due to family needs at last moment, I had to change the trip schedule & cancel Shimla booking(Now only Manali trip).
The first response from Travelguru was that nothing can be done & full money will be taken as cancellation fee. However after listening to me, a Customer Service executive, Sarika, ran from pillar to post to ensure that something is done to get my bookings on track. FInally, after some cancellation fee, I got the desired bookings(The hotel being already booked for most of days by others)
I got the remaining money refunded on time by travelguru.
It was a good & satisfying experience with a true customer service given by travelguru.
On a separate note, hotel Honeymoon inn in Manali is awesome hotel for newly wed. Though their cancellation poilcy is bit tough, but it is worth to spend your memorable days after marriage there.!
