This valentine was the first with my husband.. and we wanted to make it special.. after alot of research on where to head out for that weekend, I chanced upon travelguru site..
I called them to find out details on a Goa package... after some initial converations and calls being transfered from one executive to the other, I was attended by Ms. Tamanna.. I need to mention that she was not only well versed with all the info about the packages on her site, but also chalking out various other options for me...
we finally settled for a weekend at Nashik and a visit to the Sula Vineyards.. it is worth noticing that I was suggested this even though they dont have any tie up with Sula.. all I booked through them was the hotel.. we stayed at hotel ginger (Booking ID.TGUA0000150490)..
The executive helped me arrange a late checkout.. which they dont usually give (i know this as I had called ginger directly as well to get a better rate than travelguru - but I didnt get).. so over all, I feel it was a very very wise decision to approach travelguru..Our weekend was fantastic.. & the hotel was good (which I know, is no contribution of the travel portal).. but the story doesnt end here.. when we returned to mumbai.. I realised I left my jacket (that my hubby purchased for my during our hoenymoon from Genting) at cafe coffee day outside the hotel.. but since I never expected it back, I thought of it as lost forever..
And when I called up Tamanna to thank her for my stay, I casually told her about d incident.. and to my surprize the jacket was delivered to me at my residence within 2 days !!!... ofcourse I wrote a thanku email to the cafe coffee day guys & to mr. pravin at ginger hotel .. but kudos to the excellent customer service of travelguru.. and to thier well trained staff.. Now I can without doubt say that all my future travel plans are going to be through them.. Congrats guys, you just won yourself another faithful & satisfied customer..
