A great concept on paper, but poor execution and a very pathetic customer service. A good service is defined by its quality of customer support and Travelkhana does not have it.
I ordered food for my family in our train journey, paid full amount online but the delivery guy failed to show up. The delivery was at Gulbarga station around 7.00 p.m in the evening, just to highlight that its not a small place and certainly not a late night delivery. I ordered thru IRCTC who in turn placed the order thru Travelkhana. I dont know how that works, but I called IRCTC and placed my complaint.
Shortly someone from TravelKhana called me and they apologized and told me that the refund will be credited back to my account within a week. They even opened a complaint ticket for the same. But its over 1 month now(43 days) and no refund credited back to my account.No response to emails too. When I called back IRCTC they claimed that their system shows the order to be delivered. But I have an open ticket with Travelkhana. Why do these folks even collaborate when they can not even have a basic coordination. Or perhaps this is the way to earn money by tricking customers. Absolutely pathetic, and shameless thievery. Stay away from them.
