I and my room mates have been trying the different restaurants in Indiranagar and we went to Treat last Saturday. I was a little surprised since it was mostly empty on a Saturday evening. The ambience is ok, nothing great but not bad. But the food wasn’t all that good.
The Soup (Vegetable soup) and one of the dishes (Channa Pindi) were salty. Overall the quality was average. The customer service is pretty good, because when we complained that the Channa Pindi was very salty, they promptly replaced it. All of us are vegeterians so not sure about the Non Veg options.
Overall the food is okay but, Treat is an expensive place. Even though the ambience is average the prices are comparable with much more swanky places. The dinner for 3 cost us about 700 bucks (Soup, starter, 2 dishes and 8 rotis/naan/parathas, icecream) which is definitely not value for money.
Having been to other North Indian restaurants in Indiranagar, there are other places with better quality and lower prices. Treat is a joint I would avoid.
