My first comment on the place is that you get a very ordinary fare at relatively higher rates.
Well, the food was mediocre. The Tandoor dishes are OK type and the lassi is also fine, but besides that most of the dishes did not taste good to me. I am not a health freak but I find it a bit intriguing when oil oozes out of the curries and that adds no-way to the taste. Additionally, the food is often so spicy and oily that you run the risk of indigestion subsequent to the meal, but I guess this is not unique to this restaurant.(BTW, a disclaimer: I tried out some Chicken and Mutton dishes, did not try out the veg fare) The roti-s again are OK, but Parathas did not taste good when compared to some other restaurants I have gone to. The chicken/mutton I have eaten here are often not tender/fresh. I am not sure if my selection was wrong or not, but I found no item which I could call "out of the ordinary".
The second aspect is the price. Well, being located in Indiranagar 80 ft road probably entails a "minimum support price" and that has been adhered to. A meal for two would cost Rs 400, but with the quality of food, I would rather go to many other eateries in this area. I would get a much better Punjabi meal at Aangaan(Koramangla) or Queens(Church street) at similar price levels.
I went to the restaurant 2/3 times but would not like to recommend it highly to a friend.
