I booked 4 rooms at Treebo Kaizen, Panchgani, Maharashtra, India hotel on 24th May-2025 through Booking.com which has free cancellation policy. On 25th May-2025 received Whatsapp message to pay 50% advance of total booking amount and immediately I did paid the 50% advance and on same day and got the message as Booking confirmed with Booking ID: 4792440545 and the whatspp message stated balance amount to be paid before Checkout, also received the confirmation receipt.
On 27th May-2025, I received message to pay extra amount, since then my struggle started to get through the Customer Care to understand why I have to pay additional amount and finally got through the Customer Care agent and the agent stated this amount was not from Treebo and asked to check with Booking.com and immediately within 10 mins I got off the call, received whatsapp message stating my booking is cancelled due to High demand. I had already paid an advance to the Cab and even that I have lost due to the travel getting cancelled.
Till date I am unable to reach out to the Customer Care team and on whatsapp the available options does not take me through the Customer Care team, it has been a pathetic experience with Treebo and I have lost my Rs 24048.67 and also the cab advance I have paid.
Overall I have lost my money and trust in Treebo.
Treebo cancelled booking and charged 50% of travel cost.
I have filed a complaint through Vakilsearch and they have dispatched the notice to their below address but till date there is no response, shows hows unprofessional Treebo is?
