I stays in Bangalore and planned for a long weekend on 26th January to 30th of January to Goa. As 26 was Friday it was really long weekend so the crowd was too high. So as to book the hotel casually I went to tripadvisor and search for accommodation in South Goa, palolem Beach. I found some cottages near the beach named Abel Cressida at a nominal price of around 2000 per night per room. Are you went ahead with TripAdvisor and book the tickets around 15 days prior to of my travelling. I was aware that it would be a difficult to get the hotel on the spot after reaching Goa that’s why I did a prior booking.
Just before 2 days of travel I got a message from "reservationservices@ean.com" that due to some certain region the reservation is cancelled. Please call the customer care number for further assistance. But they never thought of calling the customer for sending SMS.
The email also come from a quite unknown domain that is ean.com . Unfortunately even though they are dealing with their business in India that do not have any Indian customer care number. So you will have to dial an ISD number to talk to them. I called them immediately and they verify all my details and spend 15 minutes for the same. Once I request them to provide another Hotel as I can not get any hotel during 2 days of interval they offered me very low quality Hotel by saying we you have only this much of option.
Finally after getting irritated I asked them to cancel the booking and refund my money. I spend 200/- for calling them. When I reached GOA on 26th JAN there were no hotels at all, and after compromising a lot I stayed in a guest house and my complete travel plan got spoiled.
